Regional German news outlets launch updated Plus apps
The Hertener Allgemeine, Dorstener Zeitung, and Münsterland Zeitung have released updated versions of their respective Plus news applications. The new versions of the HA-Plus, DZ-Plus, and MLZ-Plus apps feature redesigned navigation, clearer page layouts, and faster access to content.
A key addition is a personalized section—‘Mein HA+’, ‘Mein DZ+’, or ‘Mein MLZ+’—allowing users to sort news according to their preferences. The apps continue to offer regional livestreams, local sports coverage, and a bookmarking feature for saved articles.
Users can also access exclusive podcasts, including ‘Schalke Pottcast’, ‘Sporttalk am Freitag’, ‘Ohne Bewährung’, and ‘BVB Kompakt’. The updated applications include integration for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and are available for free on both Android and iOS devices.
