Regional Health Assessor Cosimo Latronico Calls for Solidarity in Cancer Care in Basilicata

Cosimo Latronico, the regional health assessor for Basilicata, addressed a conference in Scanzano Jonico organized by the patient‑support association Arcobaleni Rosa. He stressed that “the first true cure lies in proximity and solidarity,” urging the community to rally around those facing oncological disease and highlighting early diagnosis as the best ally for saving lives.

Latronico thanked association president Anna Zaccaria, volunteers, and health professionals for their combined scientific competence and humanity. He called for a more integrated regional health network that brings together institutions, medical staff and the third‑sector to ensure timely, quality care for patients.
