Regional health initiatives launched in Ceccano, Chieti, and Vasto

Various regional health initiatives are being launched in Italy to promote preventive care and neurological health.

In Ceccano, the municipal administration, with support from the Asl of Frosinone and the Lazio Region, is hosting a series of five preventive health appointments between October 3 and November 13. The program focuses on early diagnosis and healthy lifestyles, covering topics such as elderly well-being, metabolic and thyroid pathologies, oncological screening, and youth mental health.

In the Abruzzo region, hospitals in Chieti and Vasto are hosting an ‘Open Weekend’ dedicated to brain health from October 8 to 11. The initiative offers free services, including psychiatric consultations via telephone, Zoom, or in-person appointments at the SS. Annunziata Hospital in Chieti. Additionally, neurological consultations for headaches and cognitive decline screening tests for individuals aged 60 and over will be available at both the Chieti and San Pio da Pietrelcina hospitals in Vasto.
