Regional holiday and commercial schedules announced in Spain
The Region of Murcia has confirmed that November 2, 2026, will be a normal working day. Although All Saints Day falls on a Sunday, the regional government has opted not to move the holiday to Monday. This decision follows a 2025 resolution to substitute the holiday with the Region of Murcia Day, which was observed on June 9, 2026. Consequently, schools, public offices, and businesses in Murcia will operate normally on that Monday, unlike nine other Spanish communities including Andalusia, Madrid, and Navarra, which will observe the holiday on Monday.
In Castilla-La Mancha, the regional government has established the authorized commercial opening calendar for 2027. Twelve specific Sundays and holidays have been designated for retail operations, including five dates during the December Christmas campaign. The schedule includes openings on January 3 and 10, March 25, May 2, May 31, June 27, October 31, November 28, and five Sundays in December.
