Regional horse parades boost local culture and economy in Brazil

Regional horse parades, known as cavalgadas, have recently taken place in Esperantina and Barra do Piraí, serving to preserve local traditions and stimulate regional economies.

In Esperantina, the 11th Cavalgada do Vaqueiro concluded with musical performances and a parade through the city's main streets. The event, supported by the Government of Tocantins, aimed to strengthen community ties and boost local commerce, including services in food and transportation.

In Barra do Piraí, the inaugural Cavalgada Vale do Café drew approximately 450 horses to the local Exhibition Park. Organized in partnership with the municipal government, the event featured musical groups and was intended to re-establish the city's prominence within the regional agricultural sector.
