Regional Indonesian banks receive awards for financial literacy and Sharia growth

Regional development banks in Indonesia have received recognition for their contributions to financial services and literacy.

Bank SulutGo was named a finalist in the KEJAR Award category for Best KEJAR Implementation Bank (Sulawesi Region) by the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). The bank was recognized for its efforts in supporting the National Financial Intelligence Movement (GENCAR) and the 'One Account One Student' (KEJAR) program, which aims to foster saving habits among students in North Sulawesi and Gorontalo.

Separately, Bank Sulselbar received the ‘Excellence in Sharia Regional Banking Growth’ award at the 2026 Prominent Awards. The bank’s ‘Syariah First’ strategy focuses on strengthening the Sharia financial ecosystem and expanding access to Sharia banking products and services within South Sulawesi and West Sulawesi.
