Healthcare infrastructure and medical investments expand across Latin America
Various regional governments are implementing significant healthcare infrastructure and technology upgrades. In Bogotá, the District Health Secretariat is investing over 54 billion pesos in biomedical equipment to modernize public hospitals and expand diagnostic capabilities.
In Argentina, the province of San Juan is executing an integral works plan in the Caucete Department, targeting the Hospital Dr. César Aguilar and seven primary health centers to benefit over 38,000 residents. Meanwhile, in Saltillo, Mexico, a new hospital cluster consisting of five high-level medical institutions is under development with an investment of approximately 2.5 billion pesos.
In Bolivia, the municipality of Villamontes has prioritized urban intervention and health strengthening, including the delivery of 700,000 bolivianos worth of medications to local hospitals and health posts.
