Regional infrastructure and investment developments in Turkey
Significant infrastructure and investment projects are being implemented across different regions of Turkey. In Çaycuma, AK Party District Chairman Birol Yiğit highlighted a major transformation driven by large-scale investments. Key developments include the Filyos region, which is becoming a production and employment hub following natural gas discoveries. The area is developing a quadruple logistics network encompassing road, rail, air, and sea transport, centered around the Filyos Port and Zonguldak Airport.
In Aydın, Metropolitan Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu reported a massive investment program across 17 districts. In the Efeler district alone, 2.754 billion TL has been allocated over the last 1.5 years for infrastructure and roadworks. Completed projects include 72 kilometers of water infrastructure work and 53 kilometers of new roads. Ongoing and planned initiatives include various bridges, sports centers, and extensive road expansions to improve regional connectivity.
