Regional infrastructure developments in Kotlin and Słupsk

In the municipality of Kotlin, an agreement has been signed for the ‘EkoBrzeg - Błękitno-Zielona Przystań’ project to develop the area surrounding a local pond. The contractor, AUTO ZUZA Szymon Matyjasik, will execute the works at a cost of approximately 199,787 PLN, with a completion deadline set for November 14, 2026. The project is 90% funded by the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship Self-Government. Planned improvements include paved pedestrian paths, a wooden fishing pier, solar lighting, benches, and new greenery.

Meanwhile, in Słupsk, city officials are moving forward with plans to purchase land for a new sports and entertainment complex. The acquisition of approximately 6.5 hectares of land is expected to cost over 20 million PLN. While geological studies suggest construction is feasible, some city council members have expressed concerns regarding the necessity of further expert discussion and the potential for high costs, citing previous complications with local construction projects.
