Regional infrastructure projects advance across several Romanian localities

Various local administrations in Romania are advancing infrastructure and utility projects. In Băiculești, budget rectifications have allocated 400,000 lei for a new centralized sewage system across several villages and 200,000 lei for water supply expansion in Zigoneni.

In Stolnici, authorities are rehabilitating roads, paving streets in Cochinești, Cotmeana, and Izbășești, and constructing a new central parking area. Meanwhile, Budeasa has secured approximately 1 million lei from the Environmental Fund to modernize public lighting by replacing 250 old lamps with LED technology along an 8-kilometer stretch. In Oarja, the rehabilitation of a local cultural center has been completed through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

In Băile Herculane, Mayor Gheorghe Orza announced that the new agro-food market is expected to be completed by mid-November. The project, which had been stalled for approximately three years, is currently 40% executed. The local administration has resumed the investment using local budget funds to support both residents and local producers.
