Regional initiatives in Brazil focus on youth employment and social fundraising

The Consórcio Intermunicipal Grande ABC and the Centro de Integração Empresa-Escola (CIEE) have established a partnership to increase youth employability in the Ribeirão Pires region. The initiative focuses on two main areas: mobilizing the business sector to expand internship and apprenticeship opportunities, and providing professional training and preparation for young people entering the workforce.

Separately, the Obra Social Dom Bosco participated in the ABCR Festival 2026 in São Paulo. The event, organized by the Associação Brasileira de Captadores de Recursos (ABCR), focused on the theme ‘Ampliando o Impacto Social’ (Expanding Social Impact). The organization attended the festival to explore new strategies for fundraising, governance, and institutional development to support its socio-educational programs for children, adolescents, and the elderly.
