Regional initiatives promote sustainable urban mobility

During Sustainable Mobility Week, various initiatives were held in Argentina and Colombia to promote urban transport awareness and planning.

In Argentina, Emova presented the results of its third Educational Program, developed alongside Asociación Conciencia. The program has reached over 600 students from secondary schools near the subway network. Students participated in workshops regarding environmental care, sustainable mobility, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of the initiative, student-designed pieces were adapted by graphic artist Josefina Jolly and exhibited at the Facultad de Derecho station on Line H to promote environmental consciousness among commuters.

In Colombia, Universidad Cesmag hosted an academic session focused on Sustainable and Safe Mobility. The event brought together students, faculty, and community members to discuss challenges in public transport, active mobility, and urban planning. The session aimed to foster dialogue between academia and citizens to develop proposals for more sustainable and secure urban movement.
