Regional initiatives support SME growth through financial and management training

Various regional initiatives are underway to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through specialized training and financial guidance.

In Jujuy, Argentina, the Cámara PyME Jujuy held a second informative session regarding financing lines. Featuring representatives from the Consejo de la Microempresa, the event provided entrepreneurs and SME owners with practical instructions on navigating bank bureaucracy, understanding credit requirements, and accessing sector-specific funding to facilitate business growth.

In Aruba, the Directorate of Economic Affairs, Trade and Industry (DEZHI), through its IDEA unit, is conducting the third phase of its Entrepreneurship Masterclass. Minister of Finance, Economic Affairs and the Primary Sector, Geoffrey Wever, highlighted the importance of investing in entrepreneurial knowledge to strengthen the private sector. The upcoming workshop, titled ‘Ready to Grow: Managing Your Finances & Employee Insurance’, aims to equip both existing and aspiring business owners with essential skills in financial management and employer responsibilities.
