Regional investment and infrastructure coordination meetings held in Turkey

Provincial Coordination Board meetings were held in Denizli and Konya to evaluate public investments and infrastructure projects.

In Denizli, Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger reviewed ongoing projects and issued specific instructions regarding industrial roads and traffic safety. Key priorities include the 17-kilometer Serinhisar-Yeşilova connection road and upgrading the Serinhisar Leblebiciler Organized Industrial Zone junction to accommodate heavy vehicles. The Governor also called for improved lighting in the Sarayköy Geothermal Greenhouse OSB, Tavas, and Acıpayam to enhance traffic safety, and requested solutions for congestion at the Çardak OSB entrance.

In Konya, Governor İbrahim Akın presided over a meeting detailing 663 ongoing investment projects valued at 193.8 billion TL. For the 2026 program, 51.9 billion TL has been allocated, with a 51% cash realization rate reported as of late September. The projects span various sectors, including social and economic services, agriculture, transportation, education, and energy. Governor Akın emphasized the necessity of inter-institutional coordination and rigorous field monitoring to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to high quality standards.
