Regional job fairs connect students with employers in Mexico and Argentina
Regional employment fairs are being held in Mexico and Argentina to connect students and graduates with the professional sector.
In Tula de Allende, Mexico, the Universidad Tecnológica de Tula-Tepeji (UTTT) hosted the ‘Conecta UTTT: Expo Empleo Regional’. The event involved over 30 companies and aimed to strengthen ties between the business sector and the university. Oscar Javier González Hernández, Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare of Hidalgo, noted that the initiative supports the state's goal of increasing formal employment and reducing unemployment through strategic alliances between educational and productive sectors.
In Argentina, Universidad FASTA is organizing the 11th edition of ‘Expo UFASTA’ at the Paseo Cultural Aldrey. This event integrates academic offerings with a job fair and the ‘Misión Emprender’ initiative. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive experience for students, graduates, and the general public, covering academic paths, professional job opportunities, and entrepreneurship tools.
