Regional Kirchweih festivals scheduled in Fürth and Trautmannshofen

Various regional church festival celebrations, known as Kirchweih or Kärwa, are scheduled across different locations in Germany.

In Fürth, several district celebrations are planned for 2026. The Sack district will host its festivities from June 26 to June 29, featuring a beer tapping ceremony, live music, the raising of a Kärwabaum, and traditional competitions. The Eigenes Heim district is scheduled to celebrate from July 17 to July 20, with events including a lantern and torch procession and ecumenical services.

In Trautmannshofen, the upcoming Kirchweih is expected to attract thousands of visitors. Key attractions include the Mariä Namen pilgrimage church and a large market featuring over 100 vendors. The event also includes political breakfast gatherings and various community programs.
