Regional leaders discuss EU integration and development at forums in Montenegro and Croatia

At the ‘Public Voices Forum’ in Budva, Montenegro, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić emphasized that the success of reforms should be measured by tangible changes felt by citizens in their daily lives. Organized by the Ministry of European Affairs in partnership with the European Union and the German government, the forum focused on improving communication regarding European integration and regional cooperation under the Berlin Process.

In Šibenik, Croatia, during the ‘Days of Regional Development’ conference, Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds Nataša Mikuš Žigman highlighted Croatia’s successful utilization of EU funds. She noted that while the country achieved full utilization in the previous financial perspective, the current perspective has a 90 percent allocation. Future investments are expected to target urban development, islands, and regions such as Slavonia and Dalmatian Zagora to improve competitiveness and productivity.
