Regional leaders discuss fiscal policy and infrastructure development

In Argentina, Governor Elías Suárez participated in the Alumni Conversation of the Federal Investment Council (CFI). During the event, Suárez emphasized the importance of fiscal balance and efficient management, noting that Santiago del Estero has maintained a budget equilibrium for 20 years without incurring debt. He highlighted the need to ensure that fiscal responsibility does not exclude social sectors.

In Peru, the Board of Directors of CONUDFI met to discuss improving national investment, infrastructure, and logistical competitiveness. Representatives from PROINVERSIÓN analyzed bottlenecks in the current system, advocating for an integrated vision of logistical corridors that connect roads, ports, railways, and digital platforms. Additionally, discussions focused on the Norvial concession project to improve connectivity in the northern region and support the expected demand from the Port of Chancay. The Urban Transport Authority (ATU) also presented progress on the Logistics Development Plan for Lima and Callao.
