Regional leaders in Tabasco and Cajamarca report on administration progress

In Tabasco, Mexico, Governor Javier May Rodríguez provided a preliminary balance of his administration ahead of his constitutional report. He stated that the first two years of his term established the foundations for a new way of governing, and the remaining four years will focus on consolidating these changes and deepening social transformations. May emphasized that his administration will remain close to the territory, focusing on security as a central pillar for community well-being and aligning with the national direction of President Claudia Sheinbaum.

In Cajamarca, Peru, Regional Governor Roger Guevara Rodríguez is entering the final stage of his administration. A balance of his four-year term highlights progress in agriculture through the construction of thousands of reservoirs across 13 provinces. However, significant challenges remain, particularly in education and transport. While 170 educational institutions were built, a gap remains against a need for over 4,000. Additionally, several road improvement and paving projects, such as the Bambamarca-Marañón highway, remain unfinished due to regulatory limitations.
