Regional Municipal Forum (FRICDe) launches digital platform in Lobos, Argentina

The Regional Municipal Forum for Development and Growth (FRICDe) held its second meeting in Lobos, Argentina, bringing together more than 80 mayors and municipal officials from the Buenos Aires province. The gathering presented a new website that will serve as a digital platform for sharing local projects, best‑practice case studies and a repository of regional initiatives.

During the session, environmental consultant Eugenio Lagier introduced the "Municipios Sustentables" program, and subsecretary Ricardo Miccino showcased two sustainability projects from the municipalities of Chascomús and Lobos. The forum, initiated by Chascomús mayor Javier Gastón, aims to foster cross‑party cooperation on employment, infrastructure, environment and urban planning through an annual agenda of political meetings and technical work‑tables.
