Regional music and cultural festivals scheduled across Germany

Several regional cultural events and music festivals are scheduled across Germany in late September.

In Kornwestheim, the new cultural season begins on September 26 and 27. The weekend features a rock musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’ performed by the Opernwerkstatt am Rhein, followed by a free open-air family event called ‘Buntes Treiben’ on Sunday, which includes street theater, acrobatics, and interactive circus activities.

The ‘Rock am Bach’ festival returns to Wersten on September 18 and 19. This year’s edition features a record-breaking lineup of 14 bands, including the Austrian headliners ‘Mother’s Cake’. The event is organized by the Wersten advertising association and Kulturbud Wersten.

Additionally, the ‘Kaiserpfalz Open Air’ will take place on September 20 at the Kaiserswerth castle ruins. The festival aims to provide a platform for young artists and will feature a diverse program ranging from children’s musicals to jazz, big band, rock, and rap music.
