Regional music festivals held in Schwellbrunn and Scharnhorst

Various regional music festivals recently took place in Switzerland and Germany, drawing crowds through folk and blues genres.

In Schwellbrunn, Switzerland, the fifth ‘Buremusigträffe’ featured multiple musical formations performing a piece composed specifically for the event by René Sollberger. The festival saw high attendance via bus and e-bike, with 92 volunteers contributing over 500 hours to manage logistics and service. Medical reports indicated a safe event with minimal minor incidents.

In Scharnhorst, Germany, the ‘Blues in Scharnhorst’ benefit festival was held at the Südheidehof. The event featured blues, soul, funk, and rock performances by bands including Stars in Bars, Mama's Cooking, Funkbude, and Five By Five. All musicians waived their performance fees to collect donations for the children's aid organization Plan International. The festival included a free shuttle service provided by CeBus to accommodate attendees.
