Regional news: Medical emergency in Argentina and economic and security updates in Uruguay

In Neuquén, Argentina, an amateur football player is in critical condition after suffering three consecutive cardiac arrests during a private tournament at the Cubito premises. Witnesses reported that a nurse performed CPR on-site, but the player had to be transported to Hospital Bouquet Roldán in the back of a private vehicle after an ambulance reportedly experienced mechanical issues with its rear door. The incident has raised concerns regarding the availability of medical assistance and automated external defibrillators (AED) at the venue.

In Uruguay, Minister of Livestock Alfredo Fratti announced that the country is selling cattle at historic prices, noting that Uruguay has recently surpassed Australia in price per unit. Speaking at Expo Melo, Fratti highlighted the extraordinary moment for the national livestock sector and the challenge of maintaining these high market values.

Additionally, police in the Maroñas neighborhood of Uruguay are investigating a shooting involving approximately 15 shots. Security footage captured three individuals in a vehicle, two of whom were hooded, firing near Pantaleón Pérez. A man subsequently arrived at Hospital Pasteur with gunshot wounds, and authorities are investigating if he was a victim of the attack.
