Regional patron saint festivals held across various communities

Various regional communities are holding traditional patron saint festivals and religious celebrations throughout August.

In San Luis, celebrations for San Luis Rey de Francia coincide with the 432nd anniversary of the city's foundation. The festivities include a novena from August 16 to 24, culminating in a central Mass and procession on August 25.

In Santa Rosa del Conlara, the community is observing its patronal feast in honor of Santa Rosa de Lima from August 21 to 30. The event features a novena, the recitation of the Holy Rosary in the streets, and various liturgical activities.

In Luján, the Feast of San Juan Bautista is being observed from August 20 to 29. The celebration includes a novena at the historic San Juan Bautista chapel, ending with a Mass and procession on August 29.

Meanwhile, in San Luis de La Granja, Spain, local festivities have commenced, featuring music, parades, and bullfighting traditions scheduled to continue through August 26.
