Regional political parties prepare for upcoming election campaigns

As pre-election campaigns approach in the region, political actors are adopting divergent strategies. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović has promised significant economic reforms, including the creation of 50,000 new jobs and infrastructure development, following an event at the Islamic Center in Lukavac.

In contrast, Filip Adžić of the Civil Movement URA (GP URA) has stated that his party will avoid identity-based politics and national divisions. Adžić emphasized a focus on the cost of living, proposing plans to increase salaries and pensions, reduce fuel prices, and address housing shortages through specific projects like ‘Stan za sve’ (Housing for All).
