Regional restaurant closures: SOHA Bar and Grill and Blu Basil to close
Several established restaurants are closing in the United States. In St. Louis, Missouri, SOHA Bar and Grill is scheduled to permanently close on September 30. The South City gastropub, which opened in 2012, cited rising costs and a decrease in customers as the primary reasons for the closure.
In Lafayette, Louisiana, Blu Basil Asian Fusion is also closing its location in the Time Plaza shopping center. The space is expected to be taken over by Sen Viet Kitchen & Bar, a locally owned establishment that plans to serve Vietnamese, Japanese, and Korean dishes, along with Cajun-Asian fusion options.
