Regional running events draw hundreds of participants in Croatia and Bosnia

Regional running events saw significant participation in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Veliki Bukovec, the fifth edition of the ‘Cener tri rijeke’ race attracted over 500 runners of all generations. The event featured a 4-kilometer course and a 10-kilometer course following paths along the Plitvica and Drava rivers, alongside new short-distance races for children.

In Bosanska Krupa, the fourth Bosanska Krupa Half Marathon brought together 253 runners for the 5km and 21.1km distances, plus 160 children participating in youth races. Ivan Bubnov won the men's 21.1km race with a time of 1:17:25, while Dijana Manderalo took first place in the women's category with a time of 1:32:13. The courses held AIMS certification, highlighting the event's growing importance in the region.
