Regional running events scheduled in Italy

Two significant running events are approaching in Italy. In Falconara Marittima, the 34th edition of the Marcialonga d’Autunno will take place on November 8 at the Roccheggiani stadium track. Organized by Atletica Falconara, the event includes youth races, a 10.1-kilometer competitive and non-competitive race, and a 5-kilometer Family Run. The event is dedicated to the memory of Sandro Barchiesi and serves as a regional championship under FIDAL Marche.

In Riccione, the 43rd edition of the Classica d’autunno is scheduled for October 25. Organized by Riccione Podismo, this year’s race partners with the Marco Simoncelli Foundation to honor the late motorcycle racer on the 15th anniversary of his passing. The event features a 15-kilometer competitive course through the local hills and a 5.8-kilometer non-competitive route. The start and finish lines will be located in via Caprera near the Castello degli Agolanti.
