Regional sporting events announced in Ceuta and Nuevo Laredo

Two regional sporting events have been announced to promote health and community engagement.

In Ceuta, the second edition of the ‘Correrías Trail La Fortaleza’ is scheduled for Saturday, October 10. Organized by Club La Fortaleza in collaboration with the Guardia Civil, the event features 14 and 7-kilometer distances, including canicross and fun runs. Approximately 300 athletes are expected to participate. Proceeds from sweatshirt sales will be donated to the Guardia Civil Foundation, with additional donations directed toward animal protection agencies.

In Nuevo Laredo, the second ‘Diabetes Sin Fronteras’ race will take place on November 15, 2026. The event aims to promote physical activity and diabetes awareness through a 5-kilometer competitive race and a 3-kilometer walk. The competition includes cash prizes for top male and female finishers across various age categories, ranging from ‘Promesa’ (5–14 years) to ‘Masters’ (over 45 years).
