Various regional sporting and cultural events are being held to promote social inclusion and active lifestyles for vulnerable populations.

In La Paz, Entre Ríos, the XX Edition of the Entre Ríos Sports and Cultural Games for Older Adults is underway. The event, declared of Legislative Interest by the Chamber of Deputies, brings together over 1,000 participants aged 60 and older. Competitions include disciplines such as bocce, newcom, table tennis, chess, swimming, and various cultural activities like tango and traditional dance. The games serve as a qualifier for the National Evita Games.

In La Paz, Bolivia, the Ministry of Health and Sports organized an inclusive sporting day titled ‘Capacities that inspire and sport that transforms’ to commemorate National Disability Day. Approximately 800 participants with various physical, intellectual, and sensory disabilities took part in adapted athletic events, including speed tests. The initiative aims to strengthen adapted sports within the national system and eliminate social barriers for people with disabilities.
