Regional sports and tourism workshops held in Aysén and Paysandú

In the Aysén Region of Chile, the National Sports Institute (IND) organized two consecutive days of activities at the IND Mountain Center. The initiative provided free beginner skiing and snowshoeing lessons to participants from various local workshops who had no prior experience in winter sports. The program included logistical support such as transportation, food, equipment, and safety measures.

In Paysandú, Uruguay, the local government organized a workshop focused on the intersection of tourism and sports. Led by instructor Fabián Quesada, the eight-hour training session targeted individuals in the sports and hospitality sectors. The course aimed to improve local knowledge on how sports events attract visitors and how to encourage repeat tourism through better service and event management.
