Regional sports clubs achieve success in German gymnastics and dance competitions

Various regional sports competitions in Germany concluded with significant achievements for local athletic clubs.

At the Gau-Mannschaftsmeisterschaften in Dreieich, 40 gymnasts from SKG competed in the second round of women's apparatus gymnastics. The club secured one gold, two silver, and one bronze medal, alongside three fourth-place finishes. Notable successes included a gold medal in the P4/5 category for the 2015 and younger age group and a silver medal in the P4/5 category for the 2013-14 age group. The club finished as the fourth-best club in the Offenbach-Hanau gymnastics district medal standings.

In Dresden, dancers from SG Sossenheim (SGS) secured four qualifying spots for the German Championships in modern/contemporary solo and duo categories. Anastasiia Polishchuk earned a silver medal in the solo main group, while Katharina Bothe and Finn Bergmann took silver in the duo category. Mia Jupe also achieved a bronze medal. These qualifiers will compete for the national title in Celle on November 7 and 8, with the opportunity to qualify for the World Championships.
