Regional sports clubs in France undergo restructuring and mergers

Several regional sports clubs in France are undergoing organizational changes and mergers. In the Occitanie region, the RSCB XV rugby club has been formed through a merger between Cagnac Blaye-les-Mines Rugby and Ségala Ovale Rugby. Competing in Régionale 3, the new entity aims to preserve rugby practices in the Tarn area by combining the identities of the mining basin and the Ségala region.

Meanwhile, FC Bagnols-Pont is restructuring its operations, progressively refocusing activities on Bagnols-sur-Cèze. This shift follows changes in the use of sports facilities in Pont-Saint-Esprit. The club, which manages nearly 500 members, has strengthened its roster with five new players and aims to promote both its first and reserve teams to higher competitive levels.
