Regional sports competitions advance in Dominican Republic and Argentina

The San Vicente Games volleyball tournament has commenced in the Duarte province of the Dominican Republic. In the opening U18 women's matches, Club 27 de Febrero defeated Academia Continental 2-0, while Academia La Altagracia beat Academia Los Campeones 2-0. The Ensanche Duarte Sports Center also secured a victory against the Jaya municipal district. The event, coordinated by the Duarte Volleyball Association, included a ceremonial opening and the distribution of sports equipment donated by INEFI.

In regional table tennis competitions in Laprida, Argentina, players Ernesto Menna and Juan José Erramuspe secured qualifications for the finals in Mar del Plata. Menna advanced after a straight-set victory, while Erramuspe won the final against Hour Ly, ending a long-standing regional winning streak. This marks the first time Tres Arroyos will have two representatives competing in the Bonaerenses Games table tennis categories.
