Regional sports initiatives promote youth development in Argentina and Mexico
In Argentina, provincial deputy Jimena Senn and the Liga Esperancina de Fútbol organized a new edition of the “Ganar el partido más importante” program in Esperanza. Held at the Dante Alighieri facilities, the initiative focused on training coaches, officials, and families in psychological tools to support the emotional and personal development of young athletes. Led by psychologist César Palmieri, the sessions emphasized motivation, confidence, and the transmission of values through sports.
In Mexico, Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier participated in the “Sembrando sueños. Encestando futuro” basketball clinic at the Universidad del Deporte (UDEP). Organized by the Secretariat of Sport and Youth in collaboration with the professional team Lobos Puebla, the event provided students from various secondary institutions the opportunity to train alongside professional players. The program aims to utilize UDEP facilities to prepare new athletic talents and promote sports as a state policy for youth development.
