Regional sports tournaments held in Loreto and Coronel Portillo

In Loreto, Zacatecas, the 2026 Musicians' Lightning Tournament was held at the Benjamín Galindo Sports Unit. Organized by Código Clave, the event brought together 18 teams composed of members from various regional musical groups to promote social cohesion and physical activity. Gael Huerta y su Norteño Sierra won the championship after defeating Los Caballeros del Ruedo with a 2-0 score in the final.

In Coronel Portillo, the Provincial Municipality announced the free 'Clásico de Barrios 2026' 7-a-side football tournament. Held at the Javier Linares Vega Polideportivo, the competition is open to participants aged 16 and older. The initiative offers free registration, refereeing, and field use, with a total prize pool of S/ 2,000 distributed among the top three teams.
