Regional summer festivals and events scheduled across Belgium and France

Various regional festivals, cultural activities, and community events are scheduled across Belgium and France for the mid-August weekend.

In Marbisoux, Belgium, a four-day celebration begins this Friday, featuring an afterwork event, a belote competition, and a Palladium-themed evening. The program includes a solemn mass, a procession, children's animations, a barbecue dinner, and a concert by Big Fiesta.

In the Lot department of France, several villages are hosting festivities. Baladou, Belfort-du-Quercy, and Carnac-Rouffiac have organized programs including gourmet markets, pétanque tournaments, flea markets, and musical performances. Additionally, free outdoor cinema screenings are scheduled in Floirac, Rudelle, Lamothe-Fénelon, Gourdon, and Frontenac.

In the Nord and Pas-de-Calais regions of France, activities for the weekend of August 15-16 include large-scale flea markets with over 1,000 exhibitors, water games, and the final weekend of the Lille Aventure program.
