Regional tapas festivals held in El Almendro and Cuéllar

Two distinct tapas festivals are taking place in Spain to promote local gastronomy and tourism.

In El Almendro and Villanueva de los Castillejos, the XIII Feria de la Tapa, titled ‘Los sabores del Andévalo’, features 15 hospitality establishments. Participants can sample specialized creations for four euros each. The event includes musical entertainment and a voting system where attendees can enter a raffle for prizes, including restaurant vouchers and olive oil. The initiative is supported by the Diputación de Huelva and the Mancomunidad Beturia.

Meanwhile, the 25th edition of the Certamen de Tapas Villa de Cuéllar is scheduled from October 30 to November 2. Ten local establishments will participate, offering a variety of meat, fish, vegetable, and sweet options, including gluten-free alternatives. Following a 45% increase in tapas sales over the last two years, this edition has expanded its public prizes to 80 awards with a total value exceeding 3,000 euros. New incentives include an Instagram-based raffle for trips including spa accommodations.
