Regional technology forums to address digitalization and AI in Mostar and Niš

Two regional technology forums are scheduled to take place in September to address digital transformation and advanced technologies in the Balkans.

In Mostar, the “Digitalization in the Service of Rural Development” forum will be held on September 15–16, 2026, at the INTERA Technology Park. The event aims to explore how digital tools can enhance agriculture, increase competitiveness in rural areas, and create new business models. Experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the surrounding region will discuss challenges such as infrastructure accessibility and technical skills. The program includes a Knowledge Sharing Event co-financed by the European Union.

In Niš, the 10th Advanced Technologies Forum will occur on September 16–17. Organized by the Science and Technology Park Niš and announced by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, the forum focuses on industrial transformation through artificial intelligence and digitalization. Under the slogan “TechIntelligence: Transforming Industry for the Intelligent Age,” the event will bring together startups, investors, and researchers to discuss AI application, cyber resilience for critical infrastructure, and the skills required for rapid technological change.
