Regional television series productions highlighted in Croatia and Montenegro

New regional television productions are being highlighted through upcoming releases and festival presentations.

In Croatia, filming is underway for the drama-comedy series ‘Slučajna obitelj’ (Accidental Family). The production utilizes both outdoor locations and two large studios totaling 2,000 square meters. The cast includes Romina Tonković, playing a self-reliant woman in her thirties, and Katarina Baban, who portrays a cafe owner in the town of Jaruga.

Meanwhile, at the film festival in Herceg Novi, the series ‘Biće novih leta’ (Being of New Heights) was presented. Directed by Gvozden Đuričić, the five-episode comedy-drama explores modern family dynamics and social pressures. The story, inspired by a news report about a family staging a vacation to maintain social status, features Tamara Krcunović and Olga Odanović. The series is scheduled to air this autumn on the Superstar channel.
