Regional theaters in Emilia-Romagna celebrate anniversaries and reopenings

Two cultural venues in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy are marking significant milestones. The Teatro Petrella in Longiano is celebrating 40 years since its reopening in 1986 following wartime damage and subsequent restoration. To commemorate this anniversary, the theater is hosting a photographic installation titled “Senza fine,” curated by Studio Luca Sarti, which showcases decades of theatrical history.

In Cotignola, the Binario theater is celebrating its 20th anniversary and reopening to the public after undergoing extensive restoration work. The venue is launching a special autumn season titled “Sipario 13 Autumn,” featuring performances by Ascanio Celestini, Tindaro Granata, and Michela Andreozzi. The program focuses on diverse human narratives, ranging from social marginalization to family identity.
