Regional tourism programs launch new cultural and gastronomic routes in Spain

Various regional tourism programs in Spain are launching new cultural and gastronomic itineraries for October.

In the Valle de Laciana, the ‘Descubre Tsaciana’ program has scheduled four routes focused on natural landscapes and ethnographic heritage. The activities include an ethnographic tour of San Miguel to explore traditional water usage in mills, a visit to Lumajo to learn about the ‘vaqueiros de alzada’ tradition, and a route in El Villar de Santiago that combines mountain landscapes with local legends.

In the Mancha Alta region of Cuenca, the ‘Elige Cuenca’ program is offering a guided itinerary that combines monumental heritage with agro-food tourism. The tour includes a visit to the Monastery of Uclés, an olive oil tasting at the Mancha Oliva mill in Tarancón, and a visit to the Pisterra organic pistachio facilities in Fuente de Pedro Naharro. This initiative aims to decentralize tourism flows from the capital toward rural areas.
