Regional training programs launched for agricultural and tourism sectors
Various regional initiatives are providing free professional training to local sectors in Argentina and Mexico.
In Chivilcoy, Argentina, the municipality, the Province of Buenos Aires, INTA, and local agricultural associations are hosting a free training course for terrestrial phytosanitary applicators. The program, held at the Chivilcoy Rural Association, is essential for obtaining or renewing official licenses issued by the Ministry of Agrarian Development. The workshop covers technical aspects such as machinery calibration, mixture dosage, and the impact of climate on application.
In Arteaga, Mexico, the municipal government, under the direction of Mayor Ana Karen Sánchez Flores, has implemented free training on “Registration and Standards for Tourism Operation.” Conducted in coordination with the Coahuila State Secretariat of Tourism and Development of Magic Towns, the sessions focus on the National Tourism Registry (RNT) and safety, hygiene, and operational regulations to professionalize local service providers.
