Marki named most desirable city to live in Poland

A new ranking by Business Insider Polska identifies the most desirable cities for living in Poland, based on migration data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS) for the period 2021–2025.

Marki, located in the Masovian Voivodeship, secured the first position, showing a significant increase in residents. Kobyłka followed in second place, and Rumia took third. The ranking highlights a trend where smaller municipalities near major metropolitan areas are attracting more new residents than large urban centers like Warsaw or Krakow.

In the Silesian Voivodeship, Imielin ranked fourth nationally, followed by Orzesze in fifth. Other notable mentions in the top ten include Sulejówek, Konstantynów Łódzki, Józefów, Kołobrzeg, and Mikołów. The data indicates that seven of the top ten cities are located in the Masovian and Silesian provinces.
