Regional vocational workshops launched in Coahuila and Chihuahua

Various regional initiatives in Mexico are providing free vocational training to promote self-employment and economic empowerment.

In Frontera, Coahuila, the “Aprende y Emprende” program has launched a series of workshops coordinated by the local Women's Institute, DIF Municipal, and the Coahuila Government Secretariat. The four-day program offers training in diverse fields including candle making, sewing, plumbing, basic mechanics, and business administration. Participants who complete the courses receive official diplomas.

In Chihuahua, Federal Deputy Manque Granados is leading the “Sabadito Emprendedor” program. This initiative has reached 18 neighborhoods, benefiting over 400 people through workshops such as jewelry making, soap production, and macramé. The program is a collaborative effort involving the State Government through ICATECH and the Municipal Government via DIF, aimed at strengthening family economies and fostering local entrepreneurship.
