Regional volleyball clubs achieve historic milestones

Volleyball clubs in the Balkan region are celebrating significant achievements. In Slovenia, GEN-I Volley from Nova Gorica made history by becoming the first winners of the Slovenian Women's Super Cup. The team secured the title with a 3-0 victory over the favored OTP banka Branik Maribor in Ljubljana. The achievement was formally recognized by Nova Gorica Mayor Samo Turel, who congratulated the players and coaching staff for their contribution to local sports.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, ORT Novo Sarajevo is preparing for its European club competition debut in Switzerland. Coach Armin Bukvić highlighted the milestone as a major success for the club, particularly noting the development of young players who rose through the club's ranks to compete on the international stage. The team is scheduled to host its first European match in front of a home crowd at the Goran Čengić hall on November 4.
