Regional walking and running events scheduled for October 11 in Italy

Various regional walking and running events are scheduled for October 11 in Italy.

In Casorzo Monferrato, the inaugural ‘MalvaGiro’ will take place as part of the ‘Casorzo Walk&Run’ initiative. This non-competitive event includes a 7-kilometer walk and a 7-kilometer run, both featuring a mix of paved and unpaved paths. A ‘Baby Run’ is also organized for participants under 14. The event aims to raise funds for the local Avis association and will conclude with awards and a social gathering.

In the Valle del Giovenco, the ‘Giornata del Camminare’ will feature a 12-kilometer circular excursion through the Milonia area. Organized by the Che Fare Valle del Giovenco association in collaboration with Pro Loco Carrito, the hike is designed to highlight local nature and traditions. The route includes historical and botanical commentary from local experts and will conclude at the Milonia Apple and Honey Market.
