Regional wine events announced in Chubut and Santiago
Regional wine industries in Argentina and Chile are hosting events to promote local production and enotourism.
In Puerto Madryn, Chubut, the 2nd Provincial Meeting of Viticultural Producers will take place from September 17 to 19. Under the theme “Vinos de Chubut para el mundo,” the event aims to strengthen the sector through business rounds, training, and success story presentations. Organized by the Municipality of Puerto Madryn and various regional associations, the gathering seeks to position provincial wines in new markets.
In Santiago, Chile, the National Wine Day will be held on September 3 and 4 in the Barrio La Bolsa. The free event will feature 20 vineyards from the Maipo Valley, alongside local entrepreneurs, gastronomy, and folklore performances. Governor Claudio Orrego noted that the event serves to highlight the region's heritage and prepares the city for hosting the “The World’s 50 Best Vineyards” awards in November.
