Regional wine festivals held in Künzell and Nittel

Regional wine festivals are being held in the German wine-growing regions of Künzell and Nittel.

In Künzell, the Geselligkeitsverein Künzell organized a community wine festival featuring live music, family programs, and an open-air mass. The event aimed to foster community spirit through a specialized ‘wine village’ setup and included performances by local dance groups and youth bands.

In Nittel, the St. Rochus Weinkirmes is scheduled to take place from August 21 to August 24, 2026. As the largest wine festival on the Obermosel, the event features regional wines, musical entertainment, and unique activities such as Segway tours through the vineyards. The festival maintains strong ties to Luxembourg, offering shuttle services between Nittel and Machtum.
