Regional winter sports bazaars scheduled across Germany and Austria

Various regional sports clubs and community organizations in Germany and Austria are hosting winter sports bazaars to facilitate the sale of second-hand equipment ahead of the upcoming season.

In Germany, several clubs are organizing events throughout late October and November. These include TV Daaden on October 25, WSV Salzburger Kopf in Stein-Neukirch on October 25, Skiclub Wissen on November 1, Skiclub Höhn on November 8, and Skiclub Bad Marienberg - Unnau on November 14. These bazaars offer items such as skis, snowboards, sleds, and clothing. Many clubs use a system where sellers drop off items with prices, allowing the clubs to manage sales and retain a small commission for charitable purposes.

In Austria, the Naturfreunde Grieskirchen and Kinderfreunde Grieskirchen are organizing a combined winter sports bazaar and 'KIBAY' event in Grieskirchen on November 7, 2026. The event emphasizes sustainability and features a children's market where young participants can manage their own sales stalls. Equipment acceptance for the winter sports portion is scheduled for November 6.
